The end of the world war, the collapse of the Soviet system in eastern Europe in 1989, the end of the Soviet Union in 1991, the end of the Cold War, the subsequent end of the Warsaw Pact, the Gulf war and the partial settlement of the regional conflicts have got serious impact in the United Nation influence in the International Politics. The U.N’s peacekeeping and election-monitoring activities are on the go which has got many plans and activities for the protection of the environment.

United Nations Organization otherwise called United Nations focuses at facilitating the international law, the international economic development and security, the human rights and the social progress. Presently there are 192 member states in it which includes almost every sovereign state.

The recent change has strengthened the interactions between the global economies and the politics. And also the concern on creating an eco-friendly planet has been pushed up with a new educational system that is international in scope.

The United Nation to cater the need of the international audience has got several agencies which works on different issues. Some agencies like International Atomic Energy Agency, UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization), the World Bank, the WTO (World Health Organization) are some of the main agencies which operates for the betterment of the United Nation in the International Politics.
