U.S SOCIAL POLICY

The strategies and interventions for maintain or creating a living condition for the welfare of the human beings is referred to as Social policy. There by social policies becomes part of the public policy in order to deal with social issues. The main focus of the Social Policy is the systematic evaluation of societies responding to the social needs of the society.

Professor Richard Titmuss from the London School of Economics is believed to have customized the Social Policy as an academic subject which has been adopted by many colleges and universities.

The question why Social Security is considered as a reward by many Americans for a life of hard work has to be answered.  The history of welfare is considered as a branch of women’s history by the feminist of the day. The feminist and the leftists are the people who are chiefly interested in welfare history now a day.
