The American Democracy

The American Democracy, has its main objective to give power to individual thought and not only collective conceptions to have an impact on the decisions of the government for the welfare of the country. The American society believes in leading a liberal life with equality supported by strong democratic principles. Citizens with similar perceptions can form groups and select a representative to voice their opinions. Thus the Government ensures that laws are devised with the opinions of its citizens kept in mind by creating a platform for collective and individual thought to be heard. The American Democracy sports a republican demeanor by giving appropriate priority to the voice of every division of its society which encompasses a huge spectrum thus ensuring equality to all. Each and every citizen has been given equal rights and priority and there is no place for aristocracy in the American Constitution.

The American Democracy utilizes the system of elections to safeguard the liberty and rights of its citizens. The Government follows a federal system by dividing itself into three major divisions such as administration branch which apparently handles administrative affairs, judiciary branch which manages other judicial issues and executive branch ensures proper enforcement of laws and rules. However all these branches perform a diverse range of operations though individually but to serve the purpose of effective functioning of the government for the prosperity of the nation and citizens living in a secure and safe environment in complete harmony.

The American Democracy does not support racism and gives its non-white citizens equal rights as given to the rest of the citizens. They have also been given the right to vote and express their views and opinions liberally. Every citizen has the right to stand against any kind of malpractices such as corruption, etc prevalent in the country and to question any practices. Voting rights have been made more flexible which has resulted in a large number of voters. This is because the American Government trusts the eminent decision making power of its citizens which has always proved to be right since the inception of the voting system to choose diligent leaders. The attributes of The American Democracy strongly portray the power its people have been vested with and vice versa. Alexis de Tocqueville has authored the book named Democracy in America which gives analyzed details on The American Democracy.
