TEACHING PROCESS

Teaching Process is the steps involving teacher, student and subject matter which when delivered in an effective and efficient manner becomes a valuable credential for endorsing the tutor and their style of teaching. Proper inculcation of subject is highly required so that the learner is not deviated to learn the concept wrongly and comprehend the intended subject matter with the ability to analyze it rather than acknowledging it for academic grades. For a clear understanding of the steps involved, a triangular flow chart where teacher forms the primary source and their subject matter with mastery of subject while students with understanding of their needs becomes the two next elements.

Strategies vary from one person to another and the same goes for students who comprehend things differently. When a subject is taught, chances are high that each student would percept and interpret the subject matter based on their personal experience, knowledge which sometimes misleads their subject knowledge. Therefore, the teaching process involved should be unbiased with definite set of objectives imparted by a well trained faculty who is exponentially aware of the depths of the subject. Performance based objectives is the desired outcome of training stated in concrete terms that can be measured. Based on the behavior of the student, the approach to any subject will vary and it is the job of the pedagogical tutor to assess the specific method in which it could be conveyed. A knowledge and awareness of students drastically vary which is where a teacher comes into the picture prepare a list of criteria with a vast subject knowledge before imparting the required syllabus of the same. Teaching credentials are evaluated and valued which endorse the teacher’s ability to handle students. It is implied by making them specialize in the area of their interest.

The process of teaching involves various steps. To put it simply they are teacher’s psychological skill to assess a student, their teaching method, analyzing the comprehension of students, vast knowledge in subject, ability to morph values based on situational requirement, re-evaluate what they have learnt, helps individuals cope up besides emphasizing on subject orientation rather than implying grade requirements.

Teaching process is a collection of all the above said elements which when applied effectively has the capacity to enable tutors to inculcate in an efficient manner.
