Political Renaissance

Political renaissance is the upbringing of a new and improvised change in the world of politics which has no feasible touch with the corrupted policies adopted in the past. Various leaders have laid foundation for the modern day democratic policies implemented but before the period of renaissance which in French means rebirth or refurbish, it was a world of chaos, monarchy and hierarchy based on patronage. In the fourteenth century came the first renaissance movement in Florence which later spread to the whole of Europe to reach U.S. and U.K. besides covering other countries of the west.

Political renaissance was pursued with an intellectual approach by learned scholars and individuals who had the capability to separate belief from insanity and atrocity. Such motivational approach was crushed due to political pressure by government powers who are strong religious believers. The history of renaissance is complicated and comprehending the history in its aestheticism is a difficult task due to the entry and exit of various leaders, numerous ideologies and approaches. Some term it as a cultural advance from the Middle Ages but others see it as a period of pessimism and nostalgia.

Renaissance was a milestone period in history when cities of Italy underwent major modifications while Spain, France and England underwent territorial unification. Institutes of permanent embassies were established in these countries when Italians setup resident embassies at foreign courts. Things that were offended by the church believers as against wide belief was changed during this time and it was the dawn of democratic politics besides a strong basement for modern day technology was developed during the same. Republicanism, liberty and freedom of expression were carried forward from medieval times much to the protest of renaissance believers but it did survive to a certain extent.

The founding fathers of American constitutionalism based their policies on English constitutional theory which is a balanced approach combining medieval ruling ideas and political renaissance applicable to the society of states. Even though it was addressed commonly as Renaissance, it varied such as Italian, Latin, Greek of Renaissance humanism    which advocated equality of human beings, ability to question and clarify individual queries and establish a more secular government body which later formed to become the democracy that we know in the twenty first century.

Political renaissance had crossed centuries, underwent major changes and despite strong protest from earlier beliefs, it had made its presence felt and influenced contemporary history.
