Political Analysis of the United States of America is the study of politic cloud prevailing over the nation and the functioning of its constitutional republic exercising the rights of democracy for equality among citizens. Power of the government as in other countries is not shared solely within the president or the executive branch but shared equally for the better operation of the society. The legislative body is divided into executive branch, judiciary branch and the federal government. Apart from that, there also exist state governments, municipalities, mayor council and county governance.

Political Science which is a widely popular study in North America covers various aspects of political analysis, decision making by government and international organizations, political behavior and public policies. Public policy is the policy made to bolster the welfare of citizens and maintain order of control within the society. A practical application of politics is always expected to bring favorable results for the civilians for which public opinion polls, mass surveys and statistical graphs are made to analyze the in depth crisis of the situation before the executive body sits to make political decisions. History of politics and political analysis differs from one continent to another which begun with the rise and fall of Roman Empire. Middle ages witnessed the evolution of democratic policy which was boosted by renaissance policies adopted by various religious non believers who relied on public welfare.

Based on the foreword thoughts inculcated, the politics of United States of America is influenced by Eastern and Western cultures including that of European and United Kingdom political culture. The President being the head of the state and head of government enjoys vast powers yet the decisions made by the Presidency should be approved by the Congress before being passed such as economical improvements by increasing budget or declaring war against another country. Such policies are imposed to keep the nation under check and legal bodies so that it doesn’t lead to deterioration of any.

The major parties in U.S. are Democratic Party and Republican Party which dominates power rule. The President is not directly elected by the people but they vote for the parties which represent the candidate of their choice and will elect them after the completion of electoral process. In American political analysis, major points go to the federal entity or the federal government which is core factor for the way in which U.S. government functions at present. It governs the major cities while other counties, districts are governed by next level of priority bodies such as state, municipal and mayor councils.
