International Relations

International Relations could be defined as the existing relationship of United States with other national around the world in which it communicates for mutually beneficial future progress of the provinces. Negotiating a peaceful and beneficial relationship plays a crucial role in the development of a country’s foreign affairs and it is the department of foreign that takes care of the communication process before the President directly involves in presiding over the amiable talks.

U.S. has an impressive array of long term relationship with almost all the major nations of the world including the United Kingdom, Russia, China, India, European Continent among others. The foreign policy of the U.S. department of states decides the international relations, its aim, main objective and immediate goals. The motto of the division is to ensure a peaceful, democratic and secure world for the benefit of the American people and the international community.

International relations not only covers global relationship but also the state-to-state policies along with political relationship which has a part in the decision making of the government. Unless inner peace and unity prevails, the government will not be able to proceed with correlation with other countries for which the secretary of state works on. United States of America is one of the highly influential countries of the world and it has a strong global presence in international organizations like the U.N., UNESCO, European Union, Afro American Union and many others.

The diplomatic wing of the country participates in all international activities by voicing their opinion, refuting decisions that go against the stated laws and criticize errors besides voting for united decision making. International negotiation runs on various peace treaties and policies that are accepted by the international community. In general, treaties by the United States government are prescribed and scrutinized with strong regulations compared to international treaties. 

Sharing common ideas with an ability to overlook issues for the welfare of global community is a key for amiable international relations. Study of international relations in academics falls within the branch of comparative politics & relations in political science and successful appreciation of globally accepted terms will elevate the country to its worldwide influence.

International relations is based and derived upon with the country’s objective to protect national interests, have a concern for individual human rights and commitment to free trade. The policy followed makes a huge difference and helps gain control over the world political scenario to be part of the fraternity.
