BASIC LEGAL CONCEPTS AND ADMINISTRATION OF JUSTICE

There is a common law which is needed for human beings and which distinguishes humans from rest of the creatures in the world.  As man is called the social animal he has generated basic norms for his well being. Concentrating on the Basic Legal Concepts and Administration of Justice, the United States has inherited a common law system from England. The judges have played a vital role in creating a common law rather than legislators. There is statutory law and constitutional law which form the base of the common law. The statutory law imposes the conduct of individuals, businesses and it is passes by the federal legislators of the local and state government. The constitutional law applies only to the government and to the agents of the government.

 Countries like Macau have got the Secretariat for Administration and Justice. The secretariat for Administration and Justice looks after the civil service, municipal affairs and the legal affairs in the region. This department is the incorporation of two different departments namely Secretary for Justice and Secretary for Public Administration, Education and Youth. The main responsibilities are maintaining the legal affairs, adhering to the international law, public administration and civil service and related operations.

In one way or the other politics tend to dominate virtually all aspects of human activity. So Basic Legal Concepts and Administration of Justice is the oil for the frictionless run of the political wing.

Even the poet Virgil says that his hero was much tossed by the gods because of the wrath of their queen. So, one has to gain intelligence to achieve their objective in the most legal way.

In the administrative procedures the basic legal concepts are to maintain confidentiality to document accurately, to use appropriate guideline when releasing information which will avoid illegal information, to comply with established risk management for the safety of the individuals whereas the basis administrative procedures are to  perform the basic clerical functions properly and to adhere to the ethical principles regularly, to demonstrate responsibility and initiative, to work as an effective team member, to stick on to time properly, to confront change effectively, to continue education for the enhancement of skills.

The United Nation has got a grip in adhering to the Basic Legal Concepts and the Administration of Justice through its office headed by an Executive Director appointed by the Secretary-General who holds the responsibility of the internal justice system of the United Nations.  The United Nations with its headquarters in New York has based the Tribunal as part of the Office of Administration of Justice.
