Political Science

Political Science is a complex and large discipline which cannot be presented through simple concepts and theories but through subjects, researches, theories, practice related to politics, political and essential issues of political sphere. As a sciences discipline it researches and analyzes the fundamental categories of general scientific discipline of policy and includes all sub disciplines related to different political problems. It represents the basic structure for political science studies aimed to provide knowledge regarding the concepts key and the methods of empirical analysis of the political phenomenon and fundamental political issues.

The essential concepts of political science as a discipline will be presented, all together with the subject and the methods of search and the analysis of the more important approaches of its area of study. The essential themes for understanding of the modern political systems and the origins and evolution of different kind of governments, political regimes, political theories and ideology, the parties as organization, the interesting groups and different models of the systems of party.

Political science is commonly categorized into three distinct sub-disciplines which together constitute the field: Political Philosophy, Comparative Politics and International Relations. Political Philosophy is implemented for an absolute normative government, laws and similar questions and their distinctive characteristics. Comparative Politics is a comparison and teaching of different types of constitutions, political actors, legislature and associated fields, all of them from an intrastate perspective. International Relations deal with the interaction between nation states as well as intergovernmental and transnational organizations.

History of political science:

The history of political science serves as a context within which we make sense of the nature and role of our discipline.

Our review of recent work concentrates on three issues:

• How studies of political science approaches and identities within the contemporary discipline;
• How they relate to the past,
• Whether they look beyond the boundaries of the discipline.
