Concept of Magnetic Field

There is a force produced by the electric charges, which are in some sort of movement. The field produced by this kind of force is called the magnetic field. In addition, the electric fields, which will vary in accordance to the time, will also give rise to magnetic field. Moreover, the elementary particles will also posses their own intrinsic field with magnetic properties as well. The definition of the magnetic field in the physics today is provided by the equation called Lorenz force equation. There are also many magnetic objects, which will give rise to magnetic fields.

Magnetic field H and magnetic field B are the two different fields, which is used to describe the magnetic fields, which you can find within any magnetic materials. The specification of any magnetic field is given by both magnitude as well as the direction. Hence, every magnetic field will be a vector field. The illustration in this case is usually done with the help of the lines of magnetic fields. Although these lines cannot be demonstrated physically, they can be explained using some pure mathematical concepts. It is also said that there are also magnetic lines produced by some of the physical phenomenon like magnetic diploes, which you will be able to find in any magnetic field.

The relation between the electric fields and magnetic fields can be studied in a detailed manner in electromagnetism. The relation is so simple i.e. any changing electric field will possess the capability to produce a magnetic field and any changing magnetic field will posses the capability to produce an electric field. The Maxwell’s equations will provide the clear picture of relationship between the magnetic fields and electric fields as well as charges and currents. In other words, an object will be having two aspects like magnetic fields and electric fields, which are interrelated.
