Psychologism
In the sense of philosophy, Psychologism is the view, that logic is based lead the laws of thought. It described about the real method through which human beings feel. This term was first used by J.E.Erdmann in the year 1878, but it’s not came into the general use till in the end of 19th century. Logical Psychologism and Mathematical Psychologism are the two normal types of Psychologism. Logical Psychologism is placed in logic along with which logical laws and the mathematical laws are stranded in, described by psychological facts. In the philosophy of mathematics, Psychologism is placed in the mathematical concepts or truths are stranded in, it also described by psychological facts. In the nineteenth century, John Stuart Mill appears as a supporter in many type of logical psychologism. German logicians like Sigwart and Erdmann and some of psychologists criticized the psychologism. Frege was notably criticized the psychologism in his works, like Foundations of Arithmetic and Husserl’s Philosophy of Arithmetic. Charles Sanders Pierce and Maurice Merleau-Ponty was also criticized the Psychologism.

Psychologism comes into the English language as ‘Psychologismus’, it is a translation of German word and it is a term coined by Heglian Johann Eduard Erdmann in 1870.
