Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche

Among the prominent German philosophers, Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche is in a notable position for his contribution towards creating philosophical ideas in the nation and his critical texts had gained wide acclaim across the world. His writings were always sensible, up to the point and most of all never had the influence of any external matter affecting the proposed idea which made them clear perceptions of various topics that he choose to explore about. During his work, he had a strong liking for aphorism, metaphors and irony displaying erudite criticism abilities. He was also a classical philologist.

The core area of Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche was not only on philosophy but he had a strong foothold in postmodernism and existentialism. In the continental tradition, the radical questioning and style criticizing the highly defined values led to strong commentary and interpretation. Even though many doctrines favor the views that are accepted in the society and socially prevalent, he worked on his philosophy which questioned on why such man made laws drain life out of its essence and its expansive energies. Key ideas of Nietzsche were on perspectivism, death of god, Ubermensch, will to power and the eternal recurrence.

He was born on October 15, 1844 in a small town named Rocken. The tragic life incidents including his father and brother’s death made the family move to Naumburg. Much of his education was at University of Leipzig before he turned a full time professor at Basel at his age of 24. The career life of his begun by being a classical philologist before he moved on to become an independent philosopher with his own theories to bring about a change.

Friedrich Wilhelm Nietzsche was a frequent traveler during his days as an independent philosopher. During his age, he was so ahead of time that he even used the Hansen Writing Ball which was the typewriter of the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries. His book publishing began with the Human, All Too Human and he continued to make such publishes throughout the next years with each edition receiving rave reviews for the philosophies or ideas represented. The first part of Gay Science opened to strong criticism and he was denied access to restricted areas for his books portrayed ideas that are against beliefs of Christianity. He died later after mental disturbances gave him a hard time surviving.
