Continuing education: Encouraging continuous practice of nursing education so that a learner becomes a qualified nurse with legal licence

In-service education: They help in tackling of nursing practice in their own localities by revising the existing principles, policies, protocols and procedures which are required for a proper function.

Student affiliation: Adult nurses help in recruitment of students through proper organizations for placements.

Patient education: Adult nurses train patients rather than learners through nursing education and effective communication.  

Role of adult nurse rehabilitator

Foundation of adult nursing principles paved way for allotting functions of adult nurses. But starting their roles does not mean their role is restricted. Some function as patient advocates to support the patients to reduce the sufferings. Some perform as team members to achieve the goals drafted by program planners. Team members perform interdisciplinary activities by proper utilization of educational resources.  Most valued are nursing leaders who act as  agents for an organization and community. They deliver all their perception towards nursing education in all Endeavours.
