Nursing

Nursing is a profession to recover the patients from illness. An individual has to take care of patients, communities and/ or family to maintain the health right from birth to death. Nurse looks after or advise the affected individuals, for instance, mother nursing his or her generation. They practice professional social responsibilities to serve the community. This professional practice is regulated by Government of many countries either in national level or state level. Specific objective of nursing is to ensure the quality of individual health. They assess the timeline for caring in terms of nursing assessment.

Professional nursing

As it is governed by law, nursing has infinite number of paths for education and to advise others. Professional nurses are widely seen in clinics. They can also practice on their own personally or in some hospitals. They are skilled in clinical trials. They treat patients irrespective of their age, tradition or culture. They preach patience. Nurses provoke the social needs and psychology of an individual. It correlates social science, physical need and nursing care with advance technology of today.

LPN is a licensed vocational nurse with at least one nursing credential. LPN is enrolled nurse who may work alone or along with registered nurses. Registered nurse should possess bachelor’s degree whereas registered practical nurse or LPN or enrolled nurse should possess 2 years diploma in nursing. The qualification and practical exposure are more for registered nurse. On this basis they have profound knowledge on scientific techniques of modern equipments and technologies. In other words, registered nurse has one additional credit compared to licensed vocational nurse.

Professional practice

Practically they analyze the patients by clinical diagnosis trials. Depending on the outcome of diagnosis, they provide their caring. Nursing can be practiced either in hospitals or by visiting the patients at home or as occupational health specialist.
