Microsoft PowerPoint not only enables you to create your own presen­tations; it also provides features and tools that enable you to easily enhance the slides in your presentation and rearrange the slides as needed. You will be able to quickly create exciting presentations using the following features:

• The AutoContent Wizard walks you through each step of cre­ating a new presentation and supplies dummy text that you can replace with your own information.
• Views such as the Outline view and the Slide Sorter make it easy to arrange your presentation slides in a logical order.
• Design templates enable you to add color, background pat­terns, and special fonts to the slides in your presentation.
• Animation schemes can be used to add transitions as you move from slide to slide that add visual impact to your pre­sentation.
• You can add clip art to your slides to provide visual interest. The Clipart library also includes motion clips and sounds.

You can install Microsoft PowerPoint on a computer running Microsoft Windows 98, Windows NT 4.0, Windows 2000, and Windows XP. Microsoft PowerPoint can be purchased as a standalone product on its own CD-ROM, or it can be purchased as part of the Microsoft Office XP suite (which comes on several CD-ROMs).
