Microsoft Office Visio

Microsoft Office Visio is also called as Microsoft Visio, is the commercial diagramming software for the Microsoft Windows which uses the vector graphics in order to create diagrams.  This software program is available in three versions such as Premium, Professional and Standard.  The latest version is the Microsoft Office Visio 2010 for the Microsoft Windows. 

In the year 2009, the Microsoft launched the beta edition of Microsoft Office Visio 2010. Unlike the core  Microsoft Office 2007 software programs, the Microsoft Office Visio 2007 does not has the Ribbon user interface; however the latest version Microsoft Visio 201 has this feature.  The Microsoft Visio is not developed fort the Linux or Mac OS X operating systems.  Because of the proprietary Office Visio file format, some of the Linux or Mac OS X diagramming software applications can read the Office Visio files. The Omnigraffle Pro   for the Mac could write and read Visio files.

The Professional and Standard versions both has the same interface, however the latter has extra templates for more superior layouts and diagrams and also amazing functionality which makes it simple for the users in order to connect the diagrams with several number of data sources and display the data graphically. The Microsoft Office Visio Premium version has the three extra diagram types with smart rules support, sub-process support and validation support.
