Cytology

Cytology is also known as cell-biology. It studies the structure, interaction and composition of the cells along with different cells as well as the environment where they are found. Cytopathology is also another name of cytology, which examines structures of cells foe diagnosing disease. Cell’s molecular and microscopic studies can highlight on any of the two organisms i.e. multi celled / single celled.

Identifying differences and similarities of the cells are very important facet in the cytology. Examination through microscope can assist in identifying different sorts of the cells. By looking towards molecules that form cells, often called as molecular-biology, assists in more identification and description. Biology’s every field depends upon intellection of structures of cells. Genetics field exists as cell components and structures are understood by us.

One more important facet in cytology’s discipline is to examine interactions of cells. Just by having a study on how the cells link with environment or other type of cells, the problems can be predicted by a cytologist or he can examine the dangers from environment to the cells like substances which can cause cancer or toxic. In structures having multi cells including humans, the cytology can analyze existence of so many 1 cell’s kind or absence of adequacy of specific type of any cell.

Cytology’s main goals include:

  • Without any interruption the study regarding microscopic as well as submicroscopic structures of cells.
  • Chemical constitution of the cells.
  • Cell’s structure’s functions and interactions between them, manners how substances gets diffuses into the cells as well as can be separated from the cells plus membranes role in the above processes.
  • Macro organism’s cell’s reaction to humoral and neural stimuli.
  • Conduction and perception of the excitation.
  • Interactions in between the cells.
  • Cell's reaction towards injury.
  • Injury’s repair and cell’s adaptation to factors of environment and harmful agents.

Questions:

  • What is cytology?
  • What are the goals of cytology?
