An accident is an unusual, not predictable, specific and unintended action which takes place in specific time and location where there is no such obvious and on purpose causes with some sort of marked effects. Accident is a negative result which can be either avoided or prevented under some circumstances may end up in an accident prior to the accident occurrence. The individual who are expertise in avoiding injuries shall use the term called ‘accident’ in order to describe the events which result in injury to bold the preventable and predictable injuries. These incidents are viewed from the aspect of epidemiology dependent on preventable and predictable nature. An accident has to be investigated in order to avoid its recurrence. The root cause of an accident has to be analyzed; however it is not more common to accidents which cannot be determined in prior. The root cause of not natural, random and common accidents can be identified. However the similar types of accidents are referred as accidental. Types of accidents are physical, non physical, activity and vehicle type.

Trauma

Trauma is a type of wound in physiology or shock induced by some physical injury by an accident or violence. The trauma is a physical injury for instance fractures. The trauma shall result in secondary complications for instance respiratory failure, death and circulatory shock. The resuscitation of patients from trauma includes more number of management principles and procedures. Trauma is classified as sixth death disease all around the globe. About 10 percent of trauma case shall result in serious health problems with some sort of significant social costs and economic costs. Trauma are classified as polytrauma, facial trauma, pelvic trauma chest trauma, abdominal trauma, head injury, soft tissue injury, extremity trauma, spinal cord injury, and genitourinary system trauma.
