Applications of Robotics

Most of the people have found their interest in the field of robotics since quite a few decades. However, the idea of robots, which we have today, is of course influenced by the movies and media. The great thing about the robotics is that it has a wide range of applications. Some of the major applications of robotics are as follows:

Robots used in outer space- you would have already come across many robotic automatic machines, which are used for unloading docking bay for launching satellites as well as for constructing space station.

In intelligent homes- most of the homes are already using some automated systems for monitoring the level of security, the usage of energy and the environmental condition. The windows and doors can be automatically locked as well as opened. The air conditioning and lighting systems can be programmed to switch on and off automatically.

Exploration- Robots are used in the environments, which are extremely harmful for human beings. For instance, robots are used for monitoring the deepest oceans and volcanoes. The NASA has already employed robots for exploring the planets.

Military robots- the modern armies are employing robot drones when it comes to surveillance. It has been said that in the coming days, automated vehicles and aircrafts for carrying ammunition and fuel.

Farm- in order for gathering and cutting crops, automated harvesters is being used in the modern gardens. For helping the farmers in order to milk and feed their cows, there are some modern robotic dairies being employed.

In car industries- in the process of car manufacturing, there are many robotic arms, which are being used for performing different tasks. The robotic arms will basically perform tasks like bending, sorting, lifting, cutting and welding etc.

Hospitals- There is a robotic suit, which has been in the process of development and will be useful for lifting the patients making sure that their back is not damaged.
