Computer-Aided Engineering Overview
The Computer-aided engineering or the CAE is the use of computer software in engineering courses. This involves the processes of computer-aided analysis (CAA), computer aided design (CAD), computer aided manufacturing (CAM), computer aided planning, and material requirements planning. This also involves the process of computer aided planning (CAP). The computer-aided engineering is always a better method of engineering. Most of the engineering courses I this modern era are computer aided. Many software tools heave been developed in order to support the engineering courses. These tools are collectively called the CAE tools.
The CAE tools are mostly being used for the analyzing of strength and performance of the components that are assembled. This is only one of the major uses of the CAE tools. These are also used as manufacturing tools. If this current situation will go on, then in the future the Computer Aided engineering systems will be the major information providers that help to support the designing teams in their decision-making. Concerning the information networks, the CAE systems are considered as a single joint, these each single nodes are then connected each other with the other joints through the network.
The engineering students have many benefits using the Computer Aided Engineering courses. These CAE systems can also provide many technical supports to business. This is done with the help of the reference architecture and the ability of the CAE to place the information outlooks of the business process. The product and manufacturing models and the information models are done based on the reference architecture.
The CAE is a term that is also used by some in the early past for the description of the using of the computer technologies within the engineering courses in a broader way than just for the engineering analysis. These definitions are now known in the latest forms, that is, PLM and CAX.
