Equality Management

Equality management is one of the crucial things in an organization. This deals with the management of equality within people of different backgrounds in an organization. There are various laws regarding discrimination. This concept has been covered by case laws over the years. Managers should treat all employees with just nature. He should not be partial to any employee. For example, if an employee does some error, he should deal with it in a manageable way. In case he does not like that employee he should not be pounced upon, this will lead to demotivation of the employee.

In some companies there may exist inequality between men and women. Men are considered to be more efficient to do certain tasks, but nowadays women are overcoming that barrier and showcasing their talents and proving that they are no less efficient than men.  In fact, many high positions, even in the government are given to women. Many organizations are keeping a ratio for women employees to be recruited.  In today’s world women are taking up various positions right from auto driver to minister level. Keeping all this in mind women definitely like to be treated with equality. It is hard to find a woman who is un-employed today. Not like by gone days when it was only the man who was the Bread Winner. Hence when it is a time when women do all kinds of jobs like men, they definitely deserve to be treated with equality. 

It is very important for a Manager to consider his subordinates equal to him.  Though they are under his control, he must have the thought of treating them with equality.  If he shows his concern for his subordinates and allows them to operate with freedom and equality, many cases have proven great success, thus taking the organization to higher heights.

People like to be treated with equality.   Even the house maid or the driver, look forward to some kind of equality. Not necessarily, putting them on par, but to a certain degree they also need some kind of equality and respect.
