Military History

Military history is the humanities discipline within the scope of the general historical re coding of the armed conflict in the history of humanity, and its impact on the societies, their economies, cultures and changing international and intra relationships.  Most of the professional historians usually focus on the military affairs which had a great impact on the humanities involved. Several amateur historians usually give importance on the details of battles or personalities or of the uniforms and the equipment in use.  The important subjects of the military history study are the cultural and social foundations, cause of the war, the logistics, and military doctrine of every side, technology, tactics and strategy used and how everything changed over time.

Military history is an applied field which has been learned at service schools and academics since the military command look for not to repeat the same or the past mistakes and to develop upon its present performance by instilling the ability in the commanders in order to perceive historical parallels during the battle,   in order to exploit on the lessons studied from the past.

The field of military history is a dynamic, changing with the development as much of the subject field as the organizations and societies which make use of it.  The dynamic characteristics of the military history is mainly related to the quick change of the military forces and the science and art of controlling them and the frantic pace of the technological development which had taken place during the Industrial Revolution and recently the information n and nuclear ages.  One of the main concepts in the military history is the RMA (Revolution in Military Affairs) that tries to explain how the warfare has been developed by emerging machines or technologies, like gunpowder and gun.
