Auschwitz: Place of Horrors

Many extermination camps of Nazi were situated in Poland.  One of the infamous Auschwitz was situated close to the Polish, Oswiecim, which is about sixty kilometers from the Krakow.  On 14^th June, 1840, the first extermination camp prisoners arrived and they were about 31 to 758 Polish political prisoners.  In the year 1977, the Nazi war machine was manufacturing materials at the I.G. Farbenindustrie AG chemical company, which is situated in Dwory.  Neat to the Auschwitz-Birkenau, the company was the main bombing target and before the attack could happen, but, the Allies want airborne investigation photographs.  On the same year on 4^th April, before the rail spur routing victims directly into the extermination camp was completed, an American plane landed the I.G. Farbenindustrie AG complex for the first time. Another American investigation mission took place on 26^th June, 1944. The photograph received that day, and others like it, have since been utilized by other interested parties (such as the Auschwitz-Birkenau Museum) in order to position camp buildings destroyed by the fleeing Nazis. Investigating those pictures in the year 1979, with the use of the modern equipment, the Central Intelligence Agency made amazing discoveries.
