Web Interface And Design

Web Interface is designed for Computer usage. Coming to the concept of Interface, it is a medium of connecting the user and the machine. For example if a person is driving a vehicle, the person who is driving will have the control of the tools or rather the driving tools like brake pedal, accelerator etc. it is nothing but the human machine co-ordination.

In computer terminology web Interface or user Interface is described as man to machine communication. This is can be described as the system or the computer will have command over the program where as the user will have the command over the movements of the mouse, or graphical usage, textual edition etc. Depending on the design of the Interface the efficiency of the program can be estimated.

There are different types of Interfaces; some of them are:

Graphical User Interface: In this type the data is accepted through keyboard or mouse and the output is shown on the screen or monitor of the computer.

Web Interface and design: these types of interfaces are developed mainly for Internet. The data is accepted through web pages and the output is also displayed through a series of WebPages.

Touch Screens :In this type of interface the data is accepted by touch of a finger or through stylus. Telecommunications department is making use of this interface at present.

Command line Interface: In this type the data is accepted by typing a string and the out is displayed on the monitor as a text. This is mainly used in computer programming..

Voice user Interface :In this interface the user inputs the data through keyboard or responds verbally. Here the data is accepted and displayed through voice.

These are some of the Interfaces used in day-to-day life.

Web Interface is user friendly,as user can browse through the Internet for required information with a mouse click or through touch of a finger. Consistency is main criteria for an Interface. The design should be done in such a way that the user is more satisfied by using the Interface., In the sense all the commands are to be designed in a orderly way. So that a person using it should not be irritated by the design of the Interface.
