History

Therefore most of the town planners will support sustainable cities.

Aesthetics

By implementing the tools like Zoning and growth management, planners can help to manage the growth of cities and manage the use of land. Zoning is nothing but, it is the device of land use planning used by the local government. Growth management is the techniques used by the government to make sure that as the population grows and there are services available to meet their demands.  Many of the cities are now thought the most beautiful cities, all due to the long lasting systems of prohibitions and guidance about the building sizes and features. Still there are few cities that have been planned from commencement, but the results often don’t turnout quite as planned and evidence of the initial plan often remains.

Safety

These are comparatively inexpensive and many will consider a reasonable precaution for any urban space. Lot of cities will be having safety features like levees, retaining walls, and shelters. Many of the city planners try to control the criminality with structures designed by using theories such as socio architecture or environmental determinism.
