Business Management
The process that helps an organization to achieve its goal is known as business management. Business administration deals with processes required for business management. Business management includes planning process, marketing and sales. Business management deals with all the practices happening in an organization where business administration deals with fundamentals of these processes and other requirements to fulfill the goals of the organization. Each and every process happening in an organization is administered by the director of the organization. It is his duty to administer policies, procedures rules and regulations. In sort business management is the activity of controlling and organizing all the processes in the company.
Management

In all business and organizational activities management comprises of planning, organizing, staffing, leading and controlling. Management can be considered as efforts to reach a goal. Motivation is the basic function of management. Business management is divided into 6 separate branches. They are human resource management, operations management or production management, strategic management, marketing management, financial management and information technology management which is responsible for the management of information systems.
Business Process management (BPM)
Business process management is an approach focused to arrange all aspects of an organization according to the needs of the client. It strives for innovation, flexibility, integration and promotes business effectiveness and efficiency. Business process management tries to improve the processes going on in an organization. So it is also called as ‘process optimization process’. BPM makes an organization more efficient, more effective and more capable of change. Business process management activities are generally grouped into 6 categories like vision, design, modeling, execution, monitoring and optimization. All activities in an organization are designed around the strategic vision and goals of an organization. Various functions are designed after identification of existing processes and the design of to-be processes. Monitoring includes the tracking of individual processes. A Business Process management Suite includes four components; process engine, business analytics, content management and collaboration tools. BPM also addresses many critical IT issues.
