Notary public

A notary public (at times called as public notary or a notary) is an individual who is being endorsed by the local government or the state to collect sworn statements and direct the oaths, witness the signatures that are there in the officially authorized documents, in an official manner.

Tool that is being used:

An embossing tool is being used by the notary public that helps to authenticate his or her existence at the moment the credentials are being signed. In order to avoid counterfeit use of the embosser an inimitable identifying number is being issued by most of the states to each of the notary public.

Responsibility and to Whom is the notary public given:

• There is no requirement for a legal training to apply for this position, a public figure or a legal representative is capable of being granted a notary public grade.
• A notary public at some instance spend most of their time in carefully observing the habitual signatures as some of the legal documents are requisite to be 'notarized' in order to be acknowledged in the court.
• A notary public may perhaps also spend some of their time in verifying the names of the parties who are being involved in the signing for the reason that some of the identities are being significant.
• To make the notary public feel easy when certifying the signatures by and large, the entire parties endow with some form of certified identification like the (birth certificate, driver's license, passport, etc.).
• The procedure differs from state to state for a notary public. A few states ask for the applicants to take a proctored test on the policies and procedures prior to their certification. Whereas in some states they allow anybody above the age of 18 with merely one day of residency to be valid, as long as their local references are being obtained.

Fees for the notary public:

A nominal fee is being charged by the notary public for his or her services, at the same time this fee cannot be taken as extreme. A full-time notary public is being required by a government office or in a large law firm.
