Position: Business Analyst – Ecommerce
Responsibilities
Define, develop, nurture and grow a B2C ecommerce website
Develop and implement best of the breed ecommerce features from other ecommerce businesses
Research and analyze the competition, market and customer needs
Get involved in exploratory business research in order to identify solutions to business problems and present those in a lucid manner
Bridge business and technology by understanding business requirements and coordinating with the software development team
Reduce current "Quote" to "Deliver" cycle times
Provide insights and inputs for the leadership team to achieve high customer satisfaction oriented ecommerce infrastructure
To guide team for defining specs for customer support tools to provide robust self-service via the web portal
Interface regularly with and support the key functional areas within the company, including Sales, Engineering, Product Management, Marketing, and Operations
Drive the development of tools and systems for business analytics
Manage implementations by deadlines
Qualification: MBA from Top ranked colleges Experience: 2 - 4 years Work Location: Chennai
Skill and Abilities
A keen understanding of marketing in general and online marketing in particular
Proven ability to transform marketing ideas into actionable plans
Exposure to technology innovation and development
Be able to come up with best of breed ecommerce features based on industry study
Ability to work unsupervised in building components for the end-to-end execution cycle from 'concept' to 'go live'

Demonstrable experience in writing requirements and specifications for the software development Team
Coordinate IT team for delivery of the features under tight timelines
